Belmonte - Fleischtomate

Very well-known in Italy, this beefsteak variety originates from the Belmonte village in Calabria. Flat, cushion-shaped, crimson, slightly ridged tomatoes with excellent taste. Fully ripe at approximately the same time as Bernese Rose tomato. Fruit can grow quite large.
